The Blind Art
There’s something truly special in the soul of Georgian artists - a certain kind of emotion shaped by the mystic, beautiful experience of living in Georgia. It’s raw, powerful, and deeply unique.

The founder came to me with a vision: to open an art gallery in Belgium that would showcase Georgian artists to the world. As we spoke, one line stood out - that famous artists can sell almost anything, while extraordinary but unknown artists often remain invisible. That became my starting point.

What if you walked into a gallery and saw only the artwork - no names, no distractions - just your own emotional response? That was the spark behind The Blind Art: a gallery where artists remained anonymous until their work was sold. Only then would they meet the buyer in person and share the story behind the piece.

The founder also had a passion for wine - she produced it herself - and I drew inspiration from the practice of blind wine tasting, where sommeliers rely solely on their senses. That same idea of pure, undistracted experience shaped the gallery’s identity.

The concept quickly drew attention. People loved the mystery and the honesty of the format. Even the Georgian Embassy in Belgium reached out and offered to host the launch event in their space.
